Recipe: Apple Fudge Tart



Super easy and quick recipe! Let the kids help too!

Ingredients:

1/4 cup milk

2 tablespoons margerine

1/2 cup sugar

2 eggs

5ml salt

1 cup self-raising flour

1 tin stewed apples (or you could stew your own like I do)

Sauce: 1 tin ideal milk, 3/4 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon caramel essence.

Method:

Mix milk, margerine, 1/2 cup sugar, eggs, salt and flour together.

Place stewed apples in oven-safe dish and cover with mixture. Bake at 180 degrees for +- 30 mins.

Bring to boil ideal milk, 1 cup sugar and caramel essence. Simmer for 5 mins then pour over tart (After baking) while still hot. (Poke a few holes in the tart beforehand so that the sauce can soak in nicely) Leave to cool and store in fridge, serve cold.
