We had an awesome long weekend... just a pity it wasn't longer!
Good Friday was spent at home - fasting and no TV. Harper stuffed her face as usual though lol
We only watched a bit of "Passion of the Christ." Then off to Church we went for the very important Good Friday Service. We arrived back home and quickly made our way to the kitchen to break our fast. Boy oh boy that home-made pickled fish was delish! Thereafter we indulged in some extra spicy woolies hot x buns!
We then got ready for bed and fell asleep to the movie "Lion of Judah." Quite an old school Christian animation.
Saturday was quite a lazy day... we ended up not doing very much and just spent some time with the family who came over for a visit.
We were up bright and early on Sunday and headed off for the 8am Mass - Harper was such a star in church! While we were at Church, Harper's gramps was at home, "setting up."
We arrived home to find that the Easter Bunny had visited! YAY! Harper was spoilt with LOTS of delicious treats!
We indulged in an amazing Easter Feast for lunch. After that I was pretty tired! We then headed over to Allan's parents house for some great family time.
Monday we spent the day in Kommetjie - it was absolutely beautiful, not a breath of wind! Allan spent most of his time fishing on the rocks, Harper was super amused with her buckets and spades and I relaxed under the umbrella! Perfection!
