Helena and Pierre van der Westhuizen, owners of Simply Bee, believe their mission is to not only cultivate awareness of the benefits of using natural beeswax products but to also aid in bee conservation.

Their beehives, as began by their father, has provided them with the foundation to not only create these amazing products but to also continue a wonderful family legacy.

Simply Bee’s products offer all natural handmade products, free from harmful chemicals, synthetic fragrances and parabins, making it safe and environmentally friendly.

Their bee hives are in Fynbos areas around Hopefield (in the heart of the famous West Coast fynbos region) where there is no commercial farming within the immediate vicinity. Therefore, Simply Bee honey, beeswax and propolis are all 100% organic. Their bees are not used for commercial pollination either, which eliminates the negative effects of exposure to chemicals. Their hives are all placed on stands, which also make them badger-friendly.

Simply Bee started off with only five products in their line, due to public demand the line has now grown to over forty products in a relatively short period. These include body lotions, hand cream, foot balm, ointments, shampoo, soaps, facial skin products and polishes.

Daily Moisturiser - A light-weight natural moisturiser specially formulated with beeswax and some of nature’s most nutritious substances such as Sweet Almond, Grape seed and Lavender oil. I have been using this for the past couple of days and I must say my face looks and feels a lot more hydrated and vibrant!

AND of course I received some delicious Pure Honey! (My absolute favourite!)
